Sculptor and visual artist Karen Ami runs Mudhouse Studio, a clay and mosaic
studio in Chicago. She has exhibited her sculptures both nationally and
internationally and has collaborated on many public art projects, including
commissions for Joy Faith Knapp Children’s Center, the City of Chicago,
Gallery 37, The Chicago Public Art Group, Anshe Emet Synagogue and the
Skokie Park District. She is an active member of the Society of American
Mosaic Artists, The British Associations of Mordern Mosaic, The Chicago Artist
Coalition, and the Tile Heritage Foundation.
