Matt Medium is a multi-media artist from Montana. While he reveres the
natural beauty of mountains and streams, he is particularly drawn to the
slick and ambiguous surfaces of engineered materials. Though he sites
comic books, pulp fiction and 19th century spiritualism as important
influence on his work, voices of the dead, he says, remain his primary
source of inspiration.
