Ellen Schon is a ceramicist whose works have been widely shown, including in Massachusetts
at the Fuller Museum, The New Art Center and Danforth Museum; in New York at the American
Craft Museum; and in California at the Fort Mason Center Firehouse.

About the tile:
“My tiles represent aerial views of the earth, combining traces of natural and built
environments. They express a yearning to see ourselves from above as one human family.”
