About the tile:
The idea of this tile is based on Taiwan: Taiwan is a young, emerging island,
created by a
collision of plates, resulting in a huge quantity of fossils in the rocks.
Taiwan also has a lot of
boomtown, modern cities built in cement. The tile represents this merging
of shells and
cement to express the character of new, multiple cultures of Taiwan.
