„Northern night light in winter and summer inspires me to paint a dialogue
of colors. In my oil paintings I depict a bear‚s footprints in the snow
as
well as a cry of a waterfowl over the bay. I am interested in Byzantium
culture and I paint icons, too. I like to collect former effects."
Irja Rantala is a member of the International European Artists, The Icon
Painters of Finland, The Artists Association of Hämeenlinna Finland and
Kirjo-Group Finland. Her works have been show both in Finland and abroad.
