Wang Qingzhen works in textiles as a textile designer, weaver and fiber artist.
She
participated in the Chinese-Korean Communicating Exhibition in 1997 and received
the
Award of Excellence from the China Senior Art Academies in 2000 and the Award
of
Excellence for her work at the Western Fiber Art Exhibition in 2001. She also
has participated
in the Asian Fiber Art Exhibitions.
About the tiles:
Wang Quigzhen’s tiles, or cup mats, are woven with flax linen and artificial
silk ribbon, then
cast with crystal glass steel.
