Wars are rarely a simple matter of greed. At their heart are one group's misunderstanding, mistrust and insensitivity to another group's cultural - religious, philosophical and artistic - heritage.

Thus, the need for cross-cultural sensitivity, coupled with innovate problem-solving skills, is one of the biggest challenges facing the world today. TransCultural Exchange strives to address this pressing need through high quality, international art projects, exhibitions, artistic exchanges and related educational programming.

To quote the artist Neta Dor Lemelshtrich, one of the participating artists in TransCultural Exchange’s Coaster Project, Destination: The World, "The world suddenly becomes small and you can see that there are still people who care."
