Conference LOCATION

Boston University served the primary site for the 2013 Conference on International Opportunities in the Arts.

Our hotel recommendations included:
The Holiday Inn at 1200 Beacon Street in Brookline (walking distance to the subway and Boston University's Conference Center) is offering Conference attendees a special $189 room rate through an agreement with Boston University's College of Fine Arts. The Hyatt Regency's special Conference room rates of $199/night are SOLD OUT. Rooms are still available, however, at the regular rate of $259/per night. For Reservations, call 617 492 1234, website.

Hostelling International Boston at 19 Stuart Street (easy access to all Conference actives by subway) offers Dorm Room Rates at $59.99 and private rooms at $189.99 for the weekend. Further information is available at Hostel website.

The Boston Hotel Buckminster at 645 Beacon Street in Boston (within walking distance of Boston University's Conference Center) has a limited number of rooms available during the Columbus Day weekend at $189 and $249. (10% discount for American Automobile Association members and Students with a valid College ID; and 25% discount for Active Retired Military with ID). Toll Free Reservations at 1.800.727.2825.

The European style 40 Berkley in Boston offer single rooms (shared bath) starting at $88.00 and suites with a bath, starting at $179 for the weekend. (Breakfast included.) More information available at website.
